Reception, diagnosis and resolution in Colombia.

01 The problem

What happens when a unit fails in the region.

Today

A unit fails in Colombia. Your options: refund the full product value and lose the unit, or ask the customer to ship it to Asia: USD 60–120 in freight, 3–5 weeks of waiting, and a 1-star review on the way.

With Astrion

The customer ships locally for USD 5–15. We diagnose within 48 hours and send you a technical report. You decide: refund, replace, repair or dispose. We execute. Every case tracked, every unit accounted for.

02 Value

What you gain by operating locally.

Costs

Cut warranty costs by up to 40%

Local freight instead of international shipping. 30–40% of claimed units turn out repairable or not faulty at all: value you currently give away with every blind refund.

Compliance

Stay compliant in Colombia

Colombian consumer law (Law 1480) requires local warranty response. The regulator (SIC) fines sellers who don't provide it. We are your local operation in Colombia, without incorporating, hiring or leasing anything. Same model, ready to extend across the region as your volume grows.

Data

Know why your products fail

Monthly failure-cause reports by batch, model and firmware. Fraud detection on every claim. Data your engineering team in Asia has never had for this region.

03 How it works

How it works.

Step 01

Claim opens

Your customer files the RMA through a white-label portal with your branding.

Step 02

Remote pre-validation

We filter out user error and verify serials before anything ships. 15–25% of cases close here.

Step 03

Local shipping

Prepaid label to our facility. Days, not weeks.

Step 04

Diagnosis in 48h

Physical inspection, SMART/firmware checks, thermal stress test, unboxing video for fraud evidence.

Step 05

You decide

One-page technical report. You choose: refund, replace, repair, dispose or hold.

Step 06

We execute

Including repair, certified e-waste disposal through licensed processors, or value recovery.

05 FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Do we need a legal entity in Latin America to work with you?

No. We invoice you as a service provider. You don't incorporate, hire or lease anything in the region.

Which countries do you cover?

Operations run in Colombia today. Our platform and process are built to add reception points in other Latin American countries. Expansion is volume-driven: when a partner brand needs coverage in a new market, we open it together. If most of your LATAM claims come from a specific country, tell us. That conversation shapes our roadmap.

How do you prevent warranty fraud?

Serial validation against your records, unboxing video of every unit received, SMART/firmware history checks, and photographic evidence in every report.

Who owns the units during the process?

You do (or your customer, until resolution). Astrion acts as custodian and only executes disposition on your written instruction.

What does it cost?

Pilot pricing runs USD 25–40 per resolved case depending on service depth, plus local freight at cost. No setup fees, no monthly minimums during the pilot.
